My name is Alaina Whatley. I am the Social Media Manager at GO! Christian Magazine, and the creator of our podcast GO! Beyond the Page. I grew up in Panama City in a loving Christian home. In May 2026, I graduated from Gulf Coast State College with a degree in Digital Media and began my professional career in the field.
I enjoy graphic design, video editing, photography, and communicating stories through my work. My faith plays a large role in my life, and I want my work to reflect those same values.
I also work at my church, Emerald Coast Fellowship, as the Communications Director. In this role, I create social media content, design event branding, and take photos at events. I have also recently taken on some freelance opportunities, allowing me to continue growing in my creativity and experience.
Working at my church has given me the opportunity to strengthen my faith and grow into the woman I am today. Through the example and encouragement of the leaders around me, I have also grown as a designer and learned how to better communicate through digital media. My goal is to use the skills God has given me to serve Him, and for everything I create to bring honor and glory to Him.
